Horse No 3 YEE CHEONG SPIRIT (H379) H Bowman After the event H Bowman reported that his mount jumped well today and was able to race in a more forward position than its previous race starts.
Horse No 4 SIGHT HAPPY (J261) B Avdulla A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 FORTUNE WARRIOR (H229) C L Chau On jumping was checked when crowded between GOOD LUCK BABE and DAILY TROPHY which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider L Hewitson.
Horse No 8 DAILY TROPHY (H283) L Hewitson After the event L Hewitson reported that his mount lay out making the Home Turn.
Horse No 9 JOLLY COMPANION (H454) P N Wong After the event Apprentice P N Wong stated that she was obliged to make too much use of her mount in the early stages to take up a position outside the lead which resulted in the horse not being able to finish the race off in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a small abrasion to the right hind pastern.
Horse No 10 HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384) M Chadwick Had its left front plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Jumped only fairly and then was steadied when crowded between FORTUNE WARRIOR and GOOD LUCK BABE.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 ROMANTIC PARTY (K372) R Kingscote Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.

Fun N Fun Together easily found the front from gate five but despite straigthening four lengths on top, he just held on for a second win from 14 starts. Good Luck Babe just failed to get up for the win after a one-off trip from midfield. The switch to the dirt 1,200m nearly worked the oracle after stripping fitter for a front-running ninth over the Valley 1,650m 18 days ago. Daily Trophy rallied nicely down the outside to finish a close third after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's building towards a win with three consecutive placings, including in both starts this term. Meepmeep made good ground late near the inside for fourth without threatening the top three after a patient ride second last from gate one. He's crying out for a mile trip.
