Recap by phillip woo

Max Que settled midifeld on the rails and just got up to deny Silvery Breeze for backto- back wins this season from 11 starts. He appreciated the light weight despite a rise in class. Punted late Silvery Breeze did everything right but get the win after rushing to the lead 150m out following a one-out, one-back run. He was again at his best fresh. Top Dragon stayed on third best after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was a good effort on his seasonal debut. Anode stayed on nicely for fourth after tracking the pace from gate 14 to add value to the quartet. It was clearly his best performance from four local starts. Outgate grudgingly gave way after dictating the pace from gate five. He's gone OK in both outings this term. Shamus Storm made inroads late down the outside after making his run second last from gate 13. Like the latter, the late-fancied Sky Vino made ground late near the outside following a patient ride third last from gate 10.
