Recap by phillip woo

Punted late Hakka Radiance travelled in the box seat before moving to the lead 200m out and prevailing for his second straight win. He should remain competitive up in grade off a lighter weight. Favourite Storm Runner came on nicely through the centre to finish a close second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's a winner waiting to happen. Wah May Wai Wai just clung on for third after dictating the pace from gate five. It was a good effort at his first try over 1,800m following an opening third over the Valley 1,650m this term. Well-backed late Mr Aladdin was doing his best work late with two wider out to just miss a placing after biding his time two from the rear. It was another honest effort. Perfecto Moments finished on the bottom of a three-horse battle for third following a prominent run with cover one off the fence. He proved a surprise second last start over the Valley 1,650m was not a fluke. Leather Master just held his ground when asked for an effort after a rails run from midfield. Windicator Family made some ground without menacing along the inside after making his run one from the rear.
