Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Lunar Dash settled one off better than midfield and just got up in the dying stages to deny long-time leader Silver Spurs. The switch to the Valley with the blinkers coming off worked the oracle after placing in one of two Sha Tin runs. Punted late Silver Spurs wouldn't go down without a fight turning the final bend a length on top after leading as expected from gate three. It was another solid effort up in grade off a light weight following a win. Nebraskan ran on steadily to just take third after a prominent run on the fence. He's honest without winning. Well-backed late Dan Attack ran on well through the centre for fourth travelling behind midfield and one off from gate 10. He lived up to a successful run last month in Class Five. Vulcanus made good ground late for fifth without threatening the top four ridden cold at the rear from gate 11. He rarely produces a bad run over the Valley 1,200m. Beauty Thunder only plodded when asked for more following a speed-tracking run from gate four. He's limited. Know At Heart came up one paced after a wide without cover trip from midfield.
