Punted late Sky Heart tracked the speed from gate 13, claimed the lead from Lim's Shivano 350m out and kept finding when Master Of All loomed large 150m out for a fourth win from 13 starts. He goes well fresh. Master Of All found one too good after looming to win the race 150m out following a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was another good run. Tin Fook finished well near the inside to just miss a placing after a patient ride three from the rear. Solid Win ran on well with two wider out for third after turning the final bend two from the rear. It was another good run up in grade carrying 13lb less. The Red Hare finished well three off the fence to just miss the top four after making his run five back and one off the fence. He's hit the line well for fifths in both starts this term. Juneau Pride whacked on one paced over the last 150m after sitting one off with cover travelling third. He was first up since May and was carrying top weight.

Horse No 3 ANOTHER WORLD (K005) C Y Ho Shortly after the start raced in restricted room between IGOR STRAVINSKY and JUNEAU PRIDE.

Horse No 5 MASTER OF ALL (H177) A Badel A Badel was fined the sum of $5,000 for breaching Rule 100(3)(ii)(f) in that he used his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on two occasions over the concluding stages.

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 6 IGOR STRAVINSKY (K086) M Chadwick After the event M Chadwick could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 7 SUGAR BALL (H394) K C Leung Shifted out at the start and was bumped.

M F Poon (TIN FOOK) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that over the concluding stages he directed his mount to the outside of MASTER OF ALL where there was not sufficient room to do so, resulting in TIN FOOK making contact with THE RED HARE and taking that horse across the running of SUGAR BALL which was checked.

M F Poon was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Sunday, 2 November 2025 and to expire on Thursday, 6 November 2025 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays).

In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his good race riding record.

After the event K C Leung reported that he was unable to ride SUGAR BALL out to the finish of the race due to his mount receiving interference over the concluding stages.

Horse No 9 TIN FOOK (K167) M F Poon Leaving the 800 Metres was steadied to avoid COLOURFUL KNIGHT.

A short distance later TIN FOOK shifted out and made contact with THE RED HARE.

Held up making the Home Turn and in the early stages of the Home Straight.

M F Poon pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference over the concluding stages (see SUGAR BALL).

Horse No 10 URANUS STAR (K511) Z Purton In the middle stages raced keenly.

Approaching the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid IGOR STRAVINSKY.

Over the concluding stages was steadied to avoid THE RED HARE when that runner was taken out by TIN FOOK.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 11 SOLID WIN (J225) A Atzeni Made contact with the left side of its starting gate on jumping and lost ground.

SOLID WIN was then crowded between COLOURFUL KNIGHT and THE RED HARE.

Horse No 12 LEGENDARY YEARS (K286) M L Yeung Jumped only fairly.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 13 THE RED HARE (K312) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly and then shortly after was crowded by SUGAR BALL which shifted out on jumping.

Bumped near the 700 Metres.

Prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards gave consideration if there were grounds for a protest/objections on behalf of the 5th placegetter THE RED HARE which was taken wider by TIN FOOK over the concluding stages.

When the Stewards were satisfied there were not sufficient grounds to lodge a protest/objection and the connections chose not to, weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge.

Horse No 14 COLOURFUL KNIGHT (K366) Y L Chung The performance of COLOURFUL KNIGHT, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, COLOURFUL KNIGHT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
