Racing Incident Report
Race Four : (107) - SUN CHUI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 FUN TOGETHER (H041) C L Chau Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 WE CAN PARTY (J341) E C W Wong Near the 350 Metres lay in and was eased when positioned close to ROMANTIC PARTY which was giving ground.
Over the final 150 Metres was held up behind FUN TOGETHER and as a consequence could not be ridden out to the finish of the race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 SUPER LOVE (K118) H Bowman Bumped shortly after the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 THE GOLDEN KNIGHT (K341) C Y Ho Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between RATTAN GALAXY and BLAZING BEAM which was taken out by FUN TOGETHER.
Approaching the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of SUPER LOVE to obtain clear running.
Horse No 7 RUN RUN SMART (K080) A Badel A Badel stated that with his mount stepping up in distance it jumped well and was able to stride forward and lead when it raced keenly in the early stages.
Horse No 8 THE AUSPICIOUS (K004) J Orman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 AUTUMN VIBES (K150) Z Purton A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg.
Before being allowed to race again, AUTUMN VIBES will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 10 LUCKY MAN (J315) D Probert When giving ground near the 200 Metres raced in restricted room between FUN TOGETHER and RAGING RAPIDS which was racing tight to the inside of THE AUSPICIOUS.
In this incident LUCKY MAN was accidentally struck across the head by the whip of B Avdulla, rider of RAGING RAPIDS.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 11 CARRYON SMILING (J392) R Kingscote Bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 12 ROMANTIC PARTY (K372) H T Mo H T Mo reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 13 BLAZING BEAM (K103) K Teetan On jumping was hampered by FUN TOGETHER which shifted out.

The Auspicious had a one-off trip from behind midfield and after surging to the lead near the oustide, he kept up a good gallop for a second win from 15 starts. Super Love just out dashed The Golden Knight for second after a wide trip travelling third last coming to the final bend. It was a much better effort after failing to figure first up this term. The Golden Knight ran on strongly to just miss second by a bob of heads after straightening one from the rear. He appreciated 1,400m. Fun Together kept on a non-threatening fourth after a handy run one off the fence. It was another okay run carrying top weight. Raging Rapids made a decent bid to just miss a top four spot after a wide and with cover trip travelling midfield. Autumn Vibes was on his tippy toes 100m out after moving to the lead 350m out following a speed-tracking run from gate 13.
