Recap by phillip woo

Super Love travelled one-out, one back and after hitting the lead 150m out, he kept on gamely for a second win from 10 starts. He lived up to a hard-charging second last month. Punted late Strathpeffer stayed on nicely for second after switching back inside for a run 250m out following a box-seat run. It was another solid effort following a win. In a blanket finish of six runners for third, Superb Guy just got the head down for the final place position after a one-off trip from midfield. It was his best effort from four starts this term. Well-backed to jump favourite Etalon Or just missed third prize money after getting caught wide and without cover travelling better than midfield from gate 13. It was another solid run carrying top weight following a win. Bowser lost a placing late after emerging with the lead from gate nine. It was an improved effort. Better And Better made good ground from last and widest out at the 600m ridden back from gate 12.
