Recap by phillip woo

Double Bingo settled midfield on the rails and just got up in the shadows of the post for a first win at his 18th start. The return to the Valley worked the oracle after placing four consecutive times on dirt. Punted late Riding High was pipped late after getting his head in front close to home following a speed-tracking run from gate four. He's run well once across each track over 1,200m from three starts this term. King Alloy was only overhauled in the final few metres after dictating the run from gate five. The downgrade nearly worked the oracle after two pleasing runs in Class Four this season. Good Prospect ran on well for fourth after biding his time third last from a tricky gate. It was a better effort second up following a downgrade. Specked late Chill Master made good ground to just win a battle for fifth after biding his time three from the rear. Happy Boys came from last to finish next best. It was a typical performance from him despite a downgrade. Favourite Talents Supremo had his chance after a one-off trip from midfield. He couldn't back up a win last start carrying a 7lb penalty.
