Race One : (198) - BOCHK CROSS-BORDER SERVICES HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 ONE MAN SHOW (K409) K C Leung On jumping was bumped by TIER FLY which shifted out.
Horse No 2 COPARTNER FLEET (K342) K Teetan K Teetan stated that once ONE MAN SHOW headed his mount near the 300 Metres it came under pressure and gave ground in the Home Straight.
He added that COPARTNER FLEET may benefit with a change in gear for its next race start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 TIER FLY (K311) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly, then shifted out and made contact with ONE MAN SHOW.
L Ferraris reported that his mount settled back in the field and in the Home Straight found it difficult to make up ground from that position.

Horse No 5 CALIFORNIA BAY (K364) M Chadwick Near the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid AMAZING KID.
After the 100 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when unable to continue to improve to the outside of ONE MAN SHOW.

Over the final 75 Metres lay in and away from CALIFORNIA BAY when improving into a narrow run inside CALIFORNIA BAY.

Mabubu went forward to lead along the inside from Copartner Fleet 900m out and kept on gamely for a smart debut win. All's Well ran on nicely for second after a rails run from midfield. It was another honest effort. Jubilant Star ran on nicely near the outside for third after a wide trip near the rear from gate 13. He's a winner waiting to happen with two placings and an unlucky sixth from three starts. Debutant Made For Life just held his ground after a prominent run along the fence. He disappointed as the firming favourite but should come on for the experience. Sensationally-backed One Man Show plugged on better for fifth after a one-out, one-back run from gate eight. It was an improved effort following a downgrade. California Bay made headway late after a rails run from behind midfield. He's worth another try over 1,400m. Jubilation For All ran on without threatening after making his run five back and one off the fence.
