Race Three : (200) - BOC LIFE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 DO YOUR PART (J444) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 NEZHA (K494) J Orman Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of VICTORY CHAMPION.
Approaching the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when momentarily crowded between CIRCUIT MARSHAL and BIG STRIDE, both of which shifted ground slightly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 RAGING RAPIDS (J228) B Avdulla B Avdulla could offer no excuse for the horse not being able to finish the race off strongly in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 FLYING BOOM (K327) M F Poon Bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 6 NYX GLUCK (K438) J McDonald In the early stages raced ungenerously and leaving the 1200 Metres was awkwardly placed behind FLYING BOOM.
Horse No 7 VICTORY CHAMPION (K240) K C Leung A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 SMILING ONE (K336) H Bentley Made contact with the left side of its starting gate on jumping and lost ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm.
Before being allowed to race again, SMILING ONE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 9 DECISION LINK (K416) Z Purton Near the 200 Metres, when commencing to give ground, was eased when crowded between FLYING BOOM and NEZHA, both of which shifted ground slightly.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Z Purton could offer no excuse for the horse's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 WORLD HERO (J413) A Badel Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by GLACIATED.
Horse No 11 AMAZING FUN (H442) L Ferraris From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Leaving the 1200 Metres, when racing keenly, got its head up when momentarily crowded by NYX GLUCK when that runner shifted in whilst racing ungenerously.
Horse No 12 JUST FOLLOW ME (K332) H Doyle The tongue tie was replaced at the Start.
Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start made contact with FLYING BOOM.
Approaching the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind CIRCUIT MARSHAL.
Horse No 13 BIG STRIDE (K194) M L Yeung Jumped awkwardly.
Held up for clear running approaching the 400 Metres.
Horse No 14 GLACIATED (K272) K Teetan Bumped at the start.

Firming favourite Do Your Part tracked the pace behind World Hero from gate eight before working to the lead 280m out and proving too good for a second win from 15 starts. He deserved that after five consecutive minor placings. Nezha ran on nicely for second after coming off heels 200m out following a one-off trip from midfield. He was suited by both a downgrade and switch to 1,400m. Nyx Gluck made good ground late down the outside for third after a wide trip travelling fourth last from gate 13. It's only a matter of time before he salutes after catching the eye in his past two of three runs. Glaciated stayed on well for fourth after a box-seat run. It was another honest effort. Flying Boom ran on well for fifth after a wide trip from behind midfield. He's heading in the right direction after an encouraging seventh on debut over a shorter 1,200m. Specked late Amazing Fun made headway late after making his run from second last.
