Racing Incident Report
Race Two : (209) - QUEENSFERRY BRIDGE HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1650Meters
Horse No 1 STAR BROSE (J463) H Bowman Bumped at the start.
Horse No 3 THUNDER BLINK (J019) C L Chau Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 4 TSUEN WAN GLORY (E403) H Doyle Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped shortly after the start.
In the Home Straight lay in and over the concluding stages H Doyle was obliged to stop riding and straighten her mount when it shifted in towards STAR BROSE.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 YIU CHEUNG VICTORY (J529) B Avdulla Trainer C H Yip stated that he attributed tonight's improved performance to the horse jumping better from barrier 2 and being able to take advantage of holding a more forward position as a consequence.

Horse No 6 WINDICATOR FAMILY (H419) M F Poon Bumped at the start.
In the middle stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 900 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from WISEMAN.
Near the 150 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of THUNDER BLINK to obtain clear running.
Horse No 7 PANDA LEGEND (H002) R Kingscote Shifted out abruptly at the start despite the efforts of its rider and made contact with DRACO.
R Kingscote stated that his mount did not travel comfortably around the Happy Valley track and, in his opinion, is better suited racing at Sha Tin.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 DRACO (J115) Z Purton On jumping was checked when crowded by PANDA LEGEND which shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of its rider.
Z Purton could offer no excuse for the horse's failure to run on in the Home Straight.
Trainer B Crawford advised that he had been pleased with the horse's work and that DRACO may not have quickened as anticipated due to the application of a hood.
He added that Jockey Purton had recommended the horse be stepped up in distance for its next race start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 9 VERBIER (J187) D Probert Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 10 BINGO BABE (K115) J Orman On jumping was bumped by ALL EYES ON ME.
Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind VERBIER.
J Orman reported that when his mount commenced well it was able to hold a more forward position than had been anticipated.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 ALL EYES ON ME (J453) M L Yeung Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start was steadied when crowded.
Horse No 12 HARRY'S HERO (H332) A Badel From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Following a prominent run on the fence, Yiu Cheung Victory just outduelled Tsuen Wan Glory near the inside after drawing level for the lead 150m out for a first win at his 16th local start. Tsuen Wan Glory kept on gamely after working forward to track the leader from gate 10. It was a good run. Early favourite Star Brose found a couple too good after a rails run from midfield. He's building towards a win after getting up for fourth last start at his first run down in Class Five. Windicator Family made good ground late with two wider out after making his run four from the rear. He is always a chance over the Valley 1,650m. Harry's Hero stayed on for fifth down the outside after taking off 400m out after being ridden cold from gate 12. He has been knocking on the door. Thunder Blink wasn't beaten far in the end after a prominent run wide without cover from gate 11. He has given a better sight in his past two starts over the Valley 1,650m. Verbier didn't have much left in the tank after dictating the run from gate one. Draco never got in on the act from near the rear after getting hampered at the start.
