Racing Incident Report
Race Seven : (233) - PLOVER COVE HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Meters
Horse No 1 CELESTIAL HERO (K363) H Bowman Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded by LOVE TOGETHER which shifted in and away from DEVAS TWELVE despites the efforts of its rider.
Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind WONDERSTAR.
Horse No 2 ETERNAL FORTUNE (K010) Z Purton Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.
After being crossed by PARENTS' LOVE approaching the 600 Metres commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from PARENTS' LOVE.
As a result ETERNAL FORTUNE shifted out and made contact with WONDERSTAR.
Trainer C S Shum stated that, in his opinion, ETERNAL FORTUNE may not have performed to expectation tonight after having a hard run on 2 November 2025.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 WONDERSTAR (J531) M Guyon Shifted out shortly after the start, was bumped and became unbalanced.
Near the 850 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by DEVAS TWELVE which lay in and away from PARENTS' LOVE despite the efforts of its rider.
Bumped near the 600 Metres.
Lay in in the Home Straight, resulting in its rider M Guyon changing his whip through to his right hand after the 150 Metres.
Horse No 4 LOVE TOGETHER (L052) C Y Ho Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped.
Making the first turn near the 600 Metres hung out and as a result made contact with SIX THREE WIN.
LOVE TOGETHER then continued to hang out making the turns in the middle stages.

Horse No 5 PARENTS' LOVE (H405) Y L Chung Y L Chung stated that he had made too much use of his mount in the early stages to lead and as a consequence the horse was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 SIX THREE WIN (K513) L Hewitson Making the turn near the 600 Metres was hampered and taken wider when bumped by LOVE TOGETHER.
Horse No 7 RISING FROM ASHES (G209) J Orman Shortly after the start was checked when crowded between LUCKY XANDER which was taken out by WONDERSTAR and RYUI KOKOROE which was racing tight to the inside of CELESTIAL HERO which was crowded by LOVE TOGETHER.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.
Horse No 8 RYUI KOKOROE (L120) H Bentley Crowded shortly after the start.
Horse No 9 LUCKY XANDER (K407) K Teetan Crowded shortly after the start.
Passing the 500 Metres raced tight to the inside of SUPERB KING which was racing tight to the inside of DEVAS TWELVE.
Horse No 10 BLUE ILLUSION (K468) R Kingscote Bumped shortly after the start.
When questioned about the improved performance Trainer P C Ng stated that at its last start the horse was disadvantaged by drawing a wide barrier and not running out a strong 1200 Metres.
He added that tonight BLUE ILLUSION was advantaged by drawing towards the inside and dropping back in distance to 1000 Metres.

Horse No 11 DEVAS TWELVE (H435) M Chadwick M Chadwick stated that throughout the event his mount lay in and near the 850 Metres shifted away from PARENTS' LOVE and became unbalanced when it made contact with WONDERSTAR.
Horse No 12 SUPERB KING (K479) H Doyle Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out to the finish when held up between BLUE ILLUSION and LOVE TOGETHER.

Blue Illusion travelled prominently on the fence and took control 50m out for an upset win at his third local start. It was a better effort with a step back to the 1,000m. Love Together ran on nicely for second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He was able to build on an OK fifth on his local debut last month over the straight 1,000m. Wonderstar lost second late after sitting one off the fence in third. It was another honest effort. Superb King got up for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield to add further value to the quartet. It was his best effort from four local runs following a switch to the Valley. Odds-on favourite Eternal Fortune only plodded on for fifth after chasing the leader Parents' Love on the fence from gate one. It was a disappointing effort after a near win last start. Celestial Hero ran on late for sixth after making his run one from the rear. He should come on for this run after off-season knee surgery. Ryui Kokoroe ran on late without threatening after making his run two from the rear. It was an OK effort on his local debut.
