Recap by phillip woo

Early favourite Lucky Generations had a prominent run one off the fence and got up 100m out for an overdue win at his 17th start. He's been unlucky not to have at least placed in two of three other starts this term. Post time favourite Riding High stayed on well for second after getting briefly held up for a run 200m following a box-seat run. He remains one to follow on the back of placings in three of four starts this term. Noble Deluxe kept on gamely to just hold third after a speed-tracking run from gate seven. It was clearly his best of three straight runs over the Valley 1,200m. Punted late Podium dashed late near the outside to just miss a placing after settling fifth last from gate five. It was another good run carrying 7lb more following a win. Good Prospect ran on steadily near the inside to just finish out of the top four after a rails run from midfield. He should find his way shortly in this grade. Oriental Surprise succumbed late after dictating the run from gate six. He's better ridden with a bit more patience. Talents Supremo made good ground late to just miss a pay day after biding his time fourth last from gate 10.
