Race Nine : (301) - TAI LONG AU HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
Horse No 1 NEW FOREST (K094) L Hewitson Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 PERFECT TEAM (H120) E C W Wong Shortly after the start was bumped heavily on the hindquarters by TALENTS TRUMP when racing tight to the inside of ARIEL.
Horse No 3 DEFINITIVE (K037) L Ferraris Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 SHAMZ (L097) A Atzeni A Atzeni stated that from the outside barrier he was instructed to go forward.
Trainer A S Cruz confirmed the instructions and stated he issued those instructions as he felt it was advantageous to race on-pace today.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 YOUNG ACHIEVER (J291) H Bentley Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 8 RELIABLE PROFIT (G462) J Orman Approaching the 200 Metres was bumped by ALLCASH on a number of occasions.
Horse No 10 TALENTS TRUMP (K535) D Probert Shortly after the start made heavy contact with PERFECT TEAM when crowded by MASK RIDER which shifted out abruptly when being corrected by its rider M Chadwick.
As a consequence TALENTS TRUMP blundered.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 EVERSTAR (K264) M Guyon In the early stages raced keenly when caught wide and without cover.
The performance of EVERSTAR, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, EVERSTAR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Horse No 12 MASK RIDER (K169) M Chadwick M Chadwick reported that the instructions were to hold an on-pace position but when his mount shifted out at the start it settled further back in the field than intended.
Horse No 13 ALLCASH (K190) Z Purton Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when attempting a narrow run between ANOTHER WORLD and RELIABLE PROFIT.
In this incident ALLCASH made contact with RELIABLE PROFIT on a number of occasions.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 14 ENDEARED (H161) K Teetan From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Heavily backed New Forest was much too good after getting his own way in front from gate six for a second win from his past three starts. Definitive ran on well along the inside from midfield to just get the better of Another World for second. It was a solid first performance on the surface. Punted late Another World kept on well for third after a box-seat run. He had every chance, but it was another good run carrying 5lb more following a win. Young Achiever ran on well for fourth after a rails run from behind midfield. It was his best effort in a while following a gear change. Dragon Air Force stayed on for fifth after a wide trip from midfield. Favourite Allcash ran on late near the centre after copping a bump 200m out following a one-off trip from behind midfield. He wasn't suited by the race conditions. Reliable Profit failed to find anything when asked for an effort following a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was a below par performance.
