Race Seven : (450) - PROSPERITY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 4 AEROINVINCIBLE (J180) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 CHATER FLASH (L082) L Ferraris L Ferraris reported that his mount raced keenly and hung out throughout the early and middle stages of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 CIRCUIT MARSHAL (K526) C L Chau From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 8 BROWNNEEDSFURTHER (K325) J Orman Jumped awkwardly.
From the outside barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
In the early stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid OLDTOWN.
J Orman stated that when caught wide early he was obliged to settle back in the field to avoid covering additional ground.
He added in the Home Straight BROWNNEEDSFURTHER was unable to run on when placed under pressure.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 LUCKY MCQUEEN (K064) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the left side of its starting gate and then shortly after shifted out and made contact with MAZING GRACE.
Horse No 10 AMAZING FUN (H442) H Bentley When questioned H Bentley stated that passing the 900 Metres he became concerned with his mount's action when it blundered for a number of strides.
He added soon after AMAZING FUN was under pressure but when he was concerned there was something amiss with the horse he did not ride it out in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of AMAZING FUN was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, AMAZING FUN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments.
Horse No 11 JUST FOLLOW ME (K332) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 13 MAZING GRACE (K166) M L Yeung Bumped on jumping.
Horse No 14 GLORIOUS RYDER (K290) A Badel Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and was then steadied to avoid OLDTOWN.

Favourite Aeroinvincible led and never looked back after straightening a length on top for a third win - all over 1,400m - from 23 starts. He was able to build on a near win last start. Just Follow Me ran on well for second settling midfield on the fence after a slow start. He was able to build on an improved fourth last start. Gallant Epoch stayed on well for third after working forward three wide from gate 10 to eventually slot one off in second outside the winner 1,000m out. It was another honest performance. Lucky Mc- Queen ran on steadily to grab fourth after a one-off trip from better than midfield. He can bob up at any moment after filling the frame in four of his past five starts. Golden Luck just held his ground after a prominent run on the fence. Gorgeous Victory stayed on next best without threatening the top five from midfield. It was a better effort.
