Racing Incident Report
Race Five : (649) - THE KOREA RACING AUTHORITY TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 LUCKY DOCTOR (L225) J Orman Bumped near the 400 Metres.
J Orman stated that with blinkers being applied for the first time he was instructed to go forward.
Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions issued.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of LUCKY DOCTOR, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY DOCTOR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 2 SUPERB KING (K479) P N Wong Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 ORIGIN OF FORM (K517) E Brown On jumping was checked when crowded by SUPERB KING which shifted in abruptly.
When being crossed by QUICK MONEY approaching the 1000 Metres raced keenly and was steadied to avoid QUICK MONEY.
Horse No 4 MIGHTY FIGHTER (L132) H Bowman Near the 400 Metres was bumped by LUCKY DOCTOR which shifted out when giving ground.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 5 THUNDER PRINCE (K017) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 KING CANNON (K543) R Kingscote R Kingscote reported that his mount jumped only fairly when it slipped at the start.
Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by ORIGIN OF FORM.
Making the turn near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid LEGEND STAR when racing keenly.
Horse No 7 FORZA LEADER (L034) K C Leung Lay out throughout the middle stages.
For some distance near the 400 Metres was steadied to avoid LUCKY DOCTOR which was giving ground.
Horse No 8 GAMEPLAYER ELITE (H356) H Bentley Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 QUICK MONEY (K377) K Teetan Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 12 VIGOR ELLEEGANT (J375) M Chadwick Jumped only fairly.

Early favourite Gameplayer Elite travelled prominently on the fence and responded nicely to wear down leader Superb King 50m out for a second win and second from his past three starts. Superb King was on his tippy toes late after straightening three lengths on top dictating the pace from gate six under a 7lb claimer. He's a winner waiting to happen. Vigor Elleegant ran on nicely for third after a rails run from behind midfield. It was his best effort from eight starts this term. Post-time favourite Thunder Prince had his chance but only plodded over the last 100m following a box-seat run. He couldn't offset a 7lb penalty following a win last Wednesday. Mighty Fighter ran on steadily for fifth after a wide trip with cover from midfield. It was an improved effort with a switch to the Valley at his second start. Legend Star made a mild bid to finish a non-threatening sixth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. Forza Leader came up one paced when asked for more after a one-off trip from better than midfield. Origin Of Form made some ground late after binding his time second last from gate five.
