Recap by phillip woo

Punted late Chicken Dinner had a rails run in midfield and got up in a thrilling finish for a first win at his fourth local start. He was able to back up an improved second last start. Old-timer Harmony N Blessed nearly caused an upset after straightening two lengths on top dictating the pace from gate nine. He was a well-rated runner on the back of a Valley win earlier in the campaign. Packing King gave a cheeky sight to finish a head bob away in third after a speed-tracking run. It was a good effort up in grade after back-to-back wins. Favourite Crossborderpegasus ran on nicely through the centre to finish just out of the placings after making his run fourth last. It was another honest effort.
