Recap by phillip woo

Well backed favourite Ka Ying Resilience had a handy run and after leading 160m out, he kept on gamely for a second win from 16 starts. It was a good training feat after a pelvis injury in February. Grouper just got the nose down to beat Yee Cheong Glory for second after a one-off trip from midfield. He's a winner in waiting. Yee Cheong Glory just failed near the inside to grab second after a patient ride. He's always a chance at this level. Phoenix Light ran on well for fourth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He was able to back up a positive Valley run. Enjoy Golf gave way late after working hard to lead. Unstoppable ran out of room 50m out when making good ground late.
