PHILIP WOO’S FORMLINE
Chancheng Sparkle tackles the straight 1,000m but did stay on well for fifth without a clear run until the 200m on debut last month over 1,200m and should naturally have come on for this run. He can deliver a bold run at each-way odds. Sharp Planet was only overhauled by Spice Bag dictating most of the running on debut over the straight 1,000m before failing with an excuse after a tough run from gate 13 over 1,200m. He can give a better sight. Jedi Spurs is bred to be a speedster and has gone wire-to-wire once each over the Conghua 800m and today's straight 1,000m from as many trials. He should acquit himself well on debut from an ideal draw. Quantum Wukong will want a longer trip in the future but did make a good impression when charging home for fourth to Rising World travelling second last from gate 14 on debut over 1,200m. He must be kept safe.
TROUBLE IN RUNNING
CHANCHENG SPARKLE (L051) jumped only fairly. Held up for clear running on the Home Turn. Between the 450M and the 200M had difficulty obtaining clear running - Race 734.
SHARP PLANET (L308) rider reported that his mount hung out throughout the event and proved difficult to ride. He said as a consequence his mount was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event before giving ground in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 734.
SHOW ME YOUR LOVE (L355) in the early part of the Home Straight raced greenly. For some distance approaching the 300M had difficulty obtaining clear running - Race 734.
QUANTUM WUKONG (L393) from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 400M was hampered when taken wider - Race 734.

Jedi Spurs made all impressively in his latest trial and should go close on debut.
