TROUBLE IN RUNNING

INCANTO STAR (K343) bumped shortly after the start - Race 727.

WINNING MACHINE (K239) bumped at the start. After obtaining clear running to the outside of a runner near the 200M then lay out under pressure over the final 100M. When questioned rider stated that his instructions were to hold an on-pace position but not necessarily lead the event. He said whilst his mount jumped well he elected to allow a runner to improve to his inside to obtain a position with cover. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued and stated that his preference was for the horse to be ridden with cover - Race 755.

COLOURFUL WINNER (J312) blundered on jumping - Race 615.

GIDDY UP (J020) rider stated that after jumping awkwardly and losing ground at the start his mount travelled satisfactorily throughout the event. He said when asked for an effort in the Home Straight his mount failed to respond and weakened over the concluding stages. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 625.

YEE CHEONG RAIDER (J176) jumped only fairly - Race 656.

SUPERB GUY (K323) jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 400M and the 250M was held up for clear running - Race 755.

DOUBLE BINGO (J309) shifted out at the start and made contact with a runner. Between the 300M and the 200M was held up for clear running - Race 755.

CHILL MASTER (J319) jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was bumped. Bumped approaching the 1000M - Race 746.

DRACO (J115) throughout the early and middle stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1000M got its head up when awkwardly placed. Rider stated that his mount settled back in the field and in the Home Straight he was satisfied with the horse's finishing effort - Race 496.

SUPREME WINNER (J255) between the 500M and the 400M was badly held up for clear running. Leaving the 400M then shifted in and made contact with a runner. For some distance after the 250M had further difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted in - Race 755.

WAH MAY WAI WAI (J193) bumped approaching the 150M - Race 745.

FORTUNE KINGO (K457) leaving the 800M was bumped heavily and taken wider. When questioned in relation to his right arm extending towards a runner in the incident rider stated that as the incident occurred when the field commenced to turn after the 800M he was endeavouring to maintain his position on the track by placing pressure on his right rein and also at the same time he became unbalanced when his mount was bumped heavily by a runner. Rider reported that his mount was not comfortable on the "Wet Slow" track conditions on the All Weather surface. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 754.
