TROUBLE IN RUNNING

HAYDAY (H321) jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with a runner - Race 387.

YEE CHEONG GLORY (K074) jumped only fairly - Race 374.

FREE PONY (K229) rider reported that, in his opinion, his mount failed to run out the 1400M of the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 418.

GOKO WIN (H069) approaching the 300M was bumped. Rider stated that the instructions were to endeavour to find a position with cover. He said in the early stages he rode his mount forward to attempt to comply with his instructions but when unable to cross runners to his inside he was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. - Race 316.

NEVER SETTLE (K417) on jumping became unbalanced when bumped. Near the 1100M was checked when crowded and made slight contact with a runner. Rider reported that after being checked near the 1100M his mount failed to travel throughout the event, particularly with the early and middle stages of the event being run inside of standard time. He added that in the Home Straight his mount finished the race off only fairly. Trainer stated that the horse had pleased him leading into the race and concurred with the views of the rider that the horse had been disadvantaged by being checked in the early stages of the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 347.

VIVA BOSS (L139) kicked a rail in the Parade Ring, was examined by the vet and passed suitable to race. Jumped awkwardly - Race 374.

LITTLE MONSTER (K391) jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with a runner. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 377.

PRESTIGE HALL (K040) on jumping was hampered when crowded. Raced keenly in the middle stages - Race 398.

MADE FOR LIFE (L005) jumped awkwardly. Near the 450M was bumped, became unbalanced, shifted out and made contact with a runner. Rider reported that the instructions were to go forward. He said when his mount jumped awkwardly it did not show sufficient early speed to obtain a more forward position and in the Home Straight did not respond to his riding. He added, in his view, the horse may be better suited by being ridden in a more conservative manner in the early stages - Race 319.

WATCH THIS ONE (K268) as the start was effected became fractious and as a consequence was slow to begin. Rider reported that the intention was to be slightly more forward but his mount settled slightly further back in the field when it was slow to begin. Between the 350M and the 150M was held up for clear running - Race 375.

SEA SAPPHIRE (H343) jumped only fairly and then was bumped by a runner. Rider reported that the intention was to lead the event but when his mount jumped only fairly and was bumped it did not show sufficient pace to lead. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 375.

HAPPY PARK (J311) approaching the 200M made contact with a runner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 116.

STORMY KNIGHT (L062) jumped only fairly - Race 375.

CIRCUIT DUFFY (J501) rider stated that from the outside barrier he was given no specific instructions. He said when his mount jumped well and he did not observe horses to his inside showing intent to go forward he then elected to ride his mount along to take up a position outside the lead - Race 377.
