TROUBLE IN RUNNING

MARVEL AND GOLD (K109) badly crowded shortly after the start. Approaching the 250M had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted out - Race 326.

TEAM TEAM FOLKS (K302) shortly after the start blundered. Leaving the 800M was steadied when racing keenly. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 294.

GOLDEN WIN (L026) on jumping blundered when bumped - Race 377.

COMET RADIANCE (L067) shifted out at the start and was bumped. Near the 400M lay in and as a result blundered and became unbalanced - Race 394.

SUNNY Q (J223) bumped near the 450M - Race 377.

THUNDER PRINCE (K017) jumped only fairly - Race 390.

BULLISH PRIDE (K181) near the 300M made contact with a runner - Race 374.

ROMAN CROWN (J456) was withdrawn on the day before raceday by order of the Stewards acting on vet advice (irregular heart rhythm) . Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 338.

SEA CHARIOT (K358) noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start. Was examined by the vet and passed suitable to start. Jumped only fairly. When questioned rider stated that after settling back in the field he placed his mount under pressure near the 500M to improve. He said as he did so his mount commenced to hang in and when a runner, which was racing in advance of him, shifted out that resulted in his mount improving to the inside of the heels of that runner. He said as a consequence and due to the racing manners of his horse he elected to shift in to obtain clear running and then was held up for clear running between the 300M and the 200M before finishing the race off well thereafter. The Stewards found the tactics adopted by rider were reasonable in the circumstances - Race 355.

DAILY TROPHY (H283) near the 700M got its head up when being corrected - Race 416.
