Racing Incident Report
Race Ten : (456) - CITI INVESTMENT SERVICES HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 YOUNG SUPERSTAR (J400) M Chadwick On jumping made contact with the left side of its barrier.
Near the 900 Metres was checked when racing in restricted room between SUPER LEGENDS and FUN ELITE which made the turn awkwardly and shifted out.
As a result, YOUNG SUPERSTAR ran out across SUPER LEGENDS and lost ground.
YOUNG SUPERSTAR then raced very wide and without cover thereafter.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 SUPER LEGENDS (H364) H T Mo Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 3 CHATEAUNEUF (J219) H Bowman Bumped at the start.
Near the 300 Metres made contact with LUCKY EIGHT when improving into a narrow run between LUCKY EIGHT and YOUNG SUPERSTAR which shifted out.
Horse No 4 LUCKY EIGHT (G204) J McDonald Near the 800 Metres was checked to avoid YOUNG SUPERSTAR.
Bumped near the 300 Metres.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 KING MILES (J158) K De Melo From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Held up for clear running between the 450 Metres and the 300 Metres.
Horse No 8 LIFELINE EXPRESS (H439) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 LO PAN SPIRIT (J233) H Bentley The tongue tie was replaced at the Start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 TRIUMPHANT MORE (J489) A Badel Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 EVERSTAR (K264) B Thompson Bumped at the start.
Horse No 12 FUN ELITE (J042) L Hewitson When questioned, L Hewitson stated that as the blindfold was removed from the horse, FUN ELITE lunged forward as the start was effected, but he was of the opinion that FUN ELITE did not make contact with the front of the starting gates.
The Stewards were satisfied that FUN ELITE had not gained an advantage as the start was effected.
Horse No 14 YEE CHEONG GLORY (K074) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly.
After the event, K Teetan stated that his mount, which was having its second race start, raced greenly, particularly when being shifted to the outside of SUPER LEGENDS to obtain clear running near the 300 Metres.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.

Trainer P C Ng was fined the sum of $5,000 following the unnamed horse K362 working on the Small All Weather Track at Sha Tin Racecourse on 22 February 2025 wearing the incorrect saddle cloth number K402.

Racing Laboratory tests of MODEST GENTLEMAN, FALCON COURT, SPEEDY SMARTIE, CHEER FOR SOUTH, PATCH OF WATCH, HINOKAMI KAGURA, DAILY TROPHY, GIMME FIVE, RELIABLE PROFIT, FOREVER FOLKS, CHARMING STEED, FORTUNE WARRIOR, VULCANUS, LUCKY TOUCH, PRECISION GOAL, FULL CREDIT, CAPITAL DELIGHT, SING DRAGON, MOJAVE DESERT, MUST GO, FIGHTING MACHINE, GLORIOUS SUCCESS and NEVER PETER OUT (12.2.25) proved negative.

Triumphant More settled midfield on the rails and got up 50m out to make it three wins from five starts. He's got room to head higher. Lifeline Express zipped home late to just miss after biding his time fourth last from gate one. He has trouble winning but has placed in five of eight starts this term. Fun Elite stuck on nicely for third after poking his head in front 150m out tracking the speed after jumping swiftly. He's shown progress in his three Class Three runs. Chateauneuf ran on well for fourth after settling one off from behind midfield. It was another honest effort. Pakistan Legacy gradually faded after emerging with the lead from gate five. He went OK after a near win last month. King Miles dashed late to just miss fifth prize money settling last from gate 14. He might not be far off a rating bottom. Favourite Yee Cheong Glory only plodded after getting buffeted around upon straightening following a handy run one off the fence. It's still early days after a smart debut win last month in Class Four.
