Horse No 1 RISING FORCE (K236) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 NATURAL HIGH (J365) P N Wong After the event Apprentice P N Wong stated that her instructions were to go forward.
She said when caught wide in the early stages she was unable to cross runners to her inside and as a result NATURAL HIGH raced very wide and without cover before giving ground in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 FORTUNE WARRIOR (H229) A Badel After the event A Badel stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and gave ground in the Home Straight when it raced "flat" Horse No 4 MAGNIAC (H141) C L Chau Approaching the 400 Metres was eased when being shifted to the outside of NATURAL HIGH to obtain clear running.
Horse No 5 BULLION BLITZ (K304) L Hewitson From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 6 FUN N FUN TOGETHER (J232) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 DAILY TROPHY (H283) L Ferraris From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the event L Ferraris reported that his mount hung out throughout the race.
Horse No 10 ROBOT KNIGHT (H464) E C W Wong Blundered on jumping.
Horse No 11 SAME TO YOU (H057) A Atzeni After the event A Atzeni stated that his mount, which was having its first start on the All Weather Track, may not have appreciated racing on this surface.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 TAIHANG SCENERY (J314) H Bentley Jumped only fairly.

Fun N Fun Together led from gate eight, straightened two lengths on top and proved too smart for a maiden win at his 11th start. He was able to back up a close second last start on this surface. Red-hot favourite Rising Force stayed on well for second after getting posted five wide chasing the speed early from gate nine. It was a solid run in defeat after a smart debut win. Robot Knight ran on well to just miss second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He rarely produces a bad run on this surface. California Star dashed late to snatch fourth after making his run at the rear from gate 12. He was a winner two runs ago, but his lack of early pace tends to work against him. Magniac was doing his best work late to nearly fill the frame after making his run three from the rear. It was his best run of late. Ka Ying Resilience had little left in the tank near the 100m after sitting near the front from gate three. He was trying the dirt for the first time. Natural High had an excuse after getting posted wide without cover travelling better than midfield.
