Horse No 1 JUMBO TREASURE (K249) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 RUN RUN SMART (K080) A Badel From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 3 BUNTA BABY (J465) L Ferraris Shortly after the start bumped with AUTUMN DELIGHT.
Horse No 5 TOP TO SKY (K339) K Teetan From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 6 METAL KING (K135) C L Chau After the event C L Chau reported that his mount did not travel comfortably during the event and whilst the track was rated "Good to Firm" it did not stretch out on the surface.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 NEW POWER (H325) M L Yeung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 EXCEED THE WISH (J480) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 9 IRON LEGION (J459) Y L Chung Near the 1000 Metres was eased when being crossed by JUMBO TREASURE (K C Leung) which shifted in when not quite clear.
K C Leung was advised to exercise more care.
Horse No 10 SHOTGUN (K111) M F Poon After the event M F Poon stated that from the inside barrier he was instructed to take up an on-pace position.
He said his mount is still a little immature and this was the principal reason for its disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 12 NOBLE GO (K053) A Hamelin Jumped awkwardly.
Making the Home Turn raced tight between METAL KING and AUTUMN DELIGHT, both of which shifted ground slightly.

New Power settled prominently with cover and just touched off favourite Jumbo Treasure in the shadows of the post for a third win from 21 starts. He had been knocking on the door with placings in three of five prior starts. Jumbo Treasure nearly made all after leading from gate seven. It was a solid effort, but he was good enough to give the winner 11 pounds. Punted late Endued stayed on a non-threatening third after a one-off trip from better than midfield. He did well to place but was given every chance. Specked late in betting, Autumn Delight ran on steadily for fourth after a wide without cover trip travelling midfield from gate eighth. It was a positive effort with the claim well utilised at his first Valley start. Exceed The Wish made headway late near the outside for fifth after making his run third last from gate 10. He was able to improve off sixth place efforts in his past two starts. Bunta Baby made only a mild bid from behind midfield. Metal King was disappointing after a rails run from midfield. He couldn't back up a closing fourth last start at his second ever start.
