Race Eight : (763) - HKU BUSINESS SCHOOL AND FACULTY OF ENGINEERING HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 RAGING BLIZZARD (H368) B Avdulla Jumped only fairly.
Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running as it was being shifted to the outside.
Over the concluding stages shifted in, resulting in its rider B Avdulla having to correct his mount near the winning post.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 WUNDERBAR (H411) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 GORGEOUS WIN (J008) J Orman Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 5 SON PAK FU (G265) C L Chau From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 8 CALL ME GLORIOUS (H410) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly and then raced tight to the inside of SON PAK FU shortly after the start.
After the event A Atzeni stated that the instructions were to go forward.
He said when his mount did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to cross runners to his inside it was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and did not run on in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 MUST GO (J133) M Chadwick From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Backed late to jump favourite, Wunderbar settled midfield on the rails and quickened nicely through a gap 250m out to take control 100m out for a seventh win from 12 starts. He was back on his A-game at his second run following a mid-season break. Raging Blizzard ran on strongly near the outside for second after a rails run from behind midfield. It was a solid effort first up off a 108-day break. Harmony N Blessed stayed on nicely along the inside to just miss second after a box-seat run. He's held his condition well with thirds in back-to-back runs after a win at the Valley. Early favourite Bottomuptogether succumbed late for fourth after clearing to lead from gate 10. He couldn't build on a near win last start. Punted late Tomodachi Kokoroe stayed on for fifth after making his run one off travelling better than midfield. It wasn't a bad run, but he's a better horse at the Valley. Gorgeous Win ran on without menacing after making his run two from the rear. He's on his mark.
