Horse No 1 SUNDAY'S SERENADE (J231) K Teetan Bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 3 INVINCIBLE IBIS (K296) L Ferraris Shortly after the start was crowded between CIRCUIT VICTORY and SUNDAY'S SERENADE, both of which shifted ground slightly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 AURORA PATCH (K097) H Bowman Near the 200 Metres shifted out and away from GOOD FORTUNE, resulting in its rider H Bowman having to correct his mount.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 AWESOME TREASURE (E435) P N Wong After the event Apprentice P N Wong stated that her mount was disadvantaged by being pressured in the lead by KING OBERON and as a result gave ground in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 GOOD FORTUNE (H349) J Orman Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 8 SPICY STANDARD (J520) B Avdulla Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 YOUNG STRIKER (K029) K De Melo Jumped only fairly and shortly afterwards was crowded between AURORA PATCH and LEGEND STAR.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 NO OTHER CHOICE (K049) R Kingscote Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 13 LEGEND STAR (K271) A Atzeni Bumped shortly after the start.
Leaving the 700 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from SUNDAY'S SERENADE.
Horse No 14 CIRCUIT VICTORY (H487) M F Poon Bumped shortly after the start.
After the event M F Poon stated that, in his opinion, his mount would derive benefit from today's performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Spicy Standard sat third with cover one off the fence from gate seven before surging to the lead 150m out and drawing clear to land a maiden win at his third start. Sensationally backed Aurora Patch just beat favourite Invincible Ibis for second after a wide with cover trip travelling behind midfield from gate 13. He lived up to a good trial and should break through shortly. Invincible Ibis just lost second after a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was another honest performance, but he is likely crying out for a longer trip. Good Fortune just missed a placing after a handy run wide and without cover from gate 10. It was an encouraging debut performance by the six-year-old. King Oberon was on his tippy toes 100m out after assuming the lead 300m out following a speed-tracking run. He should come on for the run. Sunday's Serenade ran on without threatening after making his run five back and one off the fence. He requires a longer trip.
