Recap by phillip woo

Parents' Love kept up a strong gallop after mustering speed to lead from gate two for a fourth win over the Valley 1,000m from 24 starts. He appreciated a return to the Valley after staying on for third last month at Sha Tin. Super Sixty found one too good after chasing the leader from gate nine. He was able to back up a luckless sixth last month. Well-backed Day Day Victory dashed strongly near the inside for third after making his run at the rear from gate 11. He continues to hold his form well over the Valley 1,000m despite a stable change. Harmony Fire ran on steadily along the inside for fourth after a rails run from behind midfield. It was an OK effort carrying 4lb more following a win. Lean Master had to settle for fifth after getting all favours in the box seat. It was a better effort second up this term. Happy Boys ran on without threatening travelling second last from a wide draw. Sergeant Pepper came up one paced after a rails run from midfield. Lucky Twenty had an excuse after a prominent run wide and without cover from gate 12.
