Horse No 1 CHARMING BABE (J513) J Orman Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running.
Horse No 2 DENFIELD (G471) B Avdulla From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 3 GRAND NOVA (J323) H Bowman After the event H Bowman stated that his mount raced keenly in the early and middle stages when positioned outside HAPPY PARK.
He added that as a result GRAND NOVA finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 ACE POWER (J181) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly.
Between the 250 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running.

Well-backed Flying Wrote sat three wide without cover the entire trip from gate 11 but took control 150m out for a second win at his 17th start. He lived up to a game second first up this season. Punted late Exceed The Wish ran on strongly to finish a close second after making his run third last from gate 10. He was able to come on from a closing fifth last month and a maiden win isn't far away. Charming Babe stayed on well for third after a one-off trip from better than midfield. He's building towards a win with placings in back-to-back runs following a downgrade. Happy Park grudgingly gave way after dictating the run from gate five with bags of money for him late in betting. It was a return to form, but he is well rated on a Sha Tin win in December. Gameplayer Elite was doing his best work late for fifth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. Denfield left things too late after having to switch off heels for a clear run approaching the 200m following a patient ride second last from a tricky gate. Inno Century faded after a prominent run along the inside.
