Backed to jump joint favourite Robot Lucky Star sat near the front from gate eight and edged clear after leading 100m out for a first win at his second start. He was able to build on a debut third in July. California Blitz fought back for second after getting briefly headed for the lead 250m out. He's a winner in waiting after placing in all three sprints across both tracks this term. Straight To Glory stayed on nicely for third after mustering speed to eventually poke his head in front 250m out following an awkward start. It's only a matter of time before he salutes on the back of placings in half his six starts. Giant Ballon ran on well through the centre for fourth after settling behind midfield from gate nine. It was an encouraging debut performance. Enjoy Golf ran on steadily for fifth after making his run on the far side travelling midfield from gate one. He's gone better in his past two starts over the straight 1,000m from three outings this term.

Racing Incident Report

Race Two : (105) - SUN TIN WAI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters

Horse No 1 FLOWING RICHES (K293) M L Yeung M L Yeung stated that the only explanation he could offer for his mount's disappointing performance was the fact that it was left racing without cover today and when it won its previous race start on 28 September 2025 it finished the race off well when it obtained cover.

Trainer K H Ting concurred with the views expressed by M L Yeung and stated the intention was to find cover behind STRAIGHT TO GLORY but when that runner jumped awkwardly Jockey Yeung was unable to comply with the instructions issued.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 2 GIANT BALLON (K451) L Ferraris After arriving at the starting gates was found to have lost its left front plate, resulting in the horse having to be reshod.

Was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.

Bumped on jumping.

Horse No 3 LITTLE MONSTER (K391) C L Chau Bumped on jumping.

Approaching the 100 Metres was eased when crowded between ENJOY GOLF and PRESTIGE HALL which lay in and away from GIANT BALLON.

Horse No 4 PRESTIGE HALL (K040) H Bowman Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped.

Horse No 5 ROBOT LUCKY STAR (K485) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 6 SIGHT HERMOSO (L003) K Teetan Bumped on jumping.

Between the 450 Metres and the 250 Metres was badly held up behind FLOWING RICHES when that runner did not improve.

Horse No 7 SKY PHOENIX (K404) B Avdulla Made contact with the right side of the starting gate on jumping.

Near the 700 Metres was steadied and became unbalanced when crowded by SAME TO YOU (A Badel) which lay out as A Badel made some effort to correct his mount.

A Badel was advised to exercise more care.

Horse No 8 THE PROMISE (K219) H T Mo Proved difficult to load into the starting gates.

Trainer W Y So was advised that a warning would be placed on the barrier manners of the horse.

The Stewards ruled that THE PROMISE will be required to attend barrier practice to the satisfaction of the Starter before being allowed to race again.

Near the 100 Metres lay out towards LITTLE MONSTER which was giving ground and as a result was steadied.

Horse No 9 STRAIGHT TO GLORY (K340) K C Leung As the start was effected lowered its head, resulting in STRAIGHT TO GLORY jumping awkwardly and losing ground.

Horse No 11 SAME TO YOU (H057) A Badel Near the 300 Metres raced tight to the outside of SIGHT HERMOSO which shifted out when being checked away from FLOWING RICHES.

Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when racing tight to the outside of SIGHT HERMOSO.

Horse No 12 CALIFORNIA BLITZ (J370) M Chadwick Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 13 MAGIC COSMOS (J411) E C W Wong Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was crowded between FLASH STAR and CALIFORNIA BLITZ which shifted in after being bumped by PRESTIGE HALL.

Horse No 14 FLASH STAR (K431) R Kingscote Bumped on jumping.
