Horse No 1 CHATEAUNEUF (J219) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 POWER KOEPP (E301) H Bowman Shifted out at the start and bumped FUN ELITE.
Lay in in the Home Straight, resulting in its rider H Bowman changing his whip through to his right hand near the 150 Metres.
Horse No 3 YOUNG EMPEROR (K011) C L Chau Bumped at the start.
Lay in in the Home Straight.
Horse No 4 KING MILES (J158) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 ORIGIN OF FORM (K517) M F Poon Slow to begin.
Approaching the 1000 Metres NOT USUAL PICK lay in towards ORIGIN OF FORM, resulting in ORIGIN OF FORM racing tight to the inside of that runner for a short distance.
Horse No 7 LUCKY EIGHT (G204) H Doyle From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 8 MIGHTY COMMANDER (J360) A Badel Leaving the 1100 Metres was eased to avoid KING MILES which shifted in and away from FUN ELITE despite the efforts of its rider.
Leaving the 300 Metres lay in and as a result made contact with SUPERB BOY.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 NOT USUAL PICK (K568) D Probert Bumped at the start.
Bumped after travelling a short distance.
Lay in on the first turn after being crossed by YOUNG EMPEROR.
Horse No 10 FIND MY LOVE (H110) M Chadwick After travelling a short distance made contact with NOT USUAL PICK which was taken out.
After being held up for clear running in the early stages of the Home Straight was then steadied when disappointed between FUN ELITE and SUPERB BOY.
As a result FIND MY LOVE did not obtain clear running until near the 200 Metres.
Horse No 11 FUN ELITE (J042) P N Wong Bumped at the start.
Apprentice P N Wong stated that from a wide barrier she had to make some use of her mount in the early stages to cross runners to her inside.
She said as a result FUN ELITE, which was racing first up, did not finish the race off and would derive a fitness benefit from tonight's race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 SUPERB BOY (G335) L Hewitson Bumped leaving the 300 Metres.
L Hewitson could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.

Chateauneuf overhauled favourite King Miles 30m out after a box-seat run for a fourth win and third over the Valley 1,200m from 22 starts. He relished both a return to the Valley and gate one after two Sha Tin defeats. Early favourite King Miles wouldn't go down without a fight after getting pressured to his outside by Fun Elite. It was another good run carrying 5lb more following a win. Post-time favourite Mighty Commander just got up for third after a one-off trip from midfield. He's given a decent sight three times at this level after an opening win in Class Four this term. Veteran Power Koepp was making good ground late and just missed a placing after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's improved on each of his three starts across both tracks this term. Find My Love just missed the frame after a rails run from better than midfield. It was another decent effort despite a rise in class. Young Emperor was making ground late without menacing after biding his time three from the rear. Fun Elite weakened 100m out after prompting the pace from gate nine with a 7lb claimer atop.
