Recap by phillip woo

Young Bravo settled behind midfield and took the short route home to lead 150m out and get the better of favourite China Win for a first win at his fourth start. He appreciated a return to the Valley and step up to 1,800m after putting the writing on the wall with a second two runs ago over 1,400m. China Win ran on nicely through the centre after a rails run from better than midfield. He's building towards a win. Luck Is Back stayed on well for third after a prominent run one off the fence. It was his best effort from four starts over the Valley 1,650m. Sharpen Bright ran on late through the centre for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. He's gone well in back-to-back starts following a stable change. Good Luck Win gradually faded after clearing to lead from gate eight. It was his best effort from four starts this term. Old-timer Nearly Fine made inroads late near the outside to finish next best after a one-off trip from behind midfield. Packing Hurricane ran on without threatening after making his run one from the rear. Firefoot didn't find much in the stretch drive after a speed-tracking run.
