Harmony Galaxy travelled one off in midfield and came with a perfectly-timed run with two wider out to just edge Kingly Demeanor to remain unbeaten three times over the Valley 1,800m. He did put the writing on the wall with a hard-charging third last start. Kingly Demeanor did everything right but get the win after a well-judged ride on the speed from gate four. He's back on track following seconds in back-to-back runs. Romantic Fantasy was storming home late with one wider out to finish a close third after biding his time one off travelling behind midfield. It was another fine performance up in grade after seconds in four previous starts in Class Five. Early favourite Noble Pursuit wasn't far away in fourth after a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was a better effort after failing to figure in two prior starts. Romantic Laos stayed on well for fifth after a prominent run with cover from gate 10. He should find his mark shortly in this grade. Smart City wasn't too far off the finish in the end but did have his chance after a box-seat run. Post-time favourite Enthralled ran on without threatening.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four : (608) - SUCCESSFUL CONVERSION 1800M HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1800Meters

Horse No 1 ENTHRALLED (K252) Z Purton Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.

Shortly after the start was steadied to avoid OCEAN IMPACT when OCEAN IMPACT was taken out.

After the 300 Metres was shifted to the outside of CAN'T GO WONG to continue into clear running.

Between the 200 Metres and the 150 Metres ENTHRALLED then had some difficulty obtaining clear running.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 2 ROMANTIC LAOS (G476) H Bowman Trainer W K Mo advised that he had instructed H Bowman to take up a forward position, similar to when it performed well at its last start on 11 March 2026.

Horse No 4 HARMONY GALAXY (J266) B Avdulla Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 5 OCEAN IMPACT (J502) L Hewitson Blundered on jumping.

Shortly after was then steadied when crowded between SHARPEN BRIGHT and ROMANTIC FANTASY which was taken out by SMART CITY which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.

Approaching the 400 Metres raced tight for a short distance to the inside of ENTHRALLED.

Horse No 6 SHARPEN BRIGHT (H276) P N Wong Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Apprentice P N Wong was warned in relation to using her whip on a horse that was out of contention.

Horse No 7 CAN'T GO WONG (H087) C Y Ho Near the 300 Metres NOBLE PURSUIT (J Moreira) shifted out to improve, resulting in CAN'T GO WONG being taken out slightly but then having to be checked to avoid FOREVER GLORIOUS when that runner commenced to give ground.

As the Stewards were satisfied that Jockey Moreira was entitled to shift out prior to the 300 Metres no action was taken.

As a result CAN'T GO WONG was then badly held up for clear running between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres.

Horse No 8 FOREVER GLORIOUS (G229) Y L Chung A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 9 SMART CITY (J213) K Teetan Shifted out on jumping and made contact with ROMANTIC FANTASY, resulting in K Teetan having to correct his mount.

Horse No 10 KINGLY DEMEANOR (H486) M L Yeung Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 11 ROMANTIC FANTASY (H168) A Atzeni Shortly after the start made contact with OCEAN IMPACT when taken out by SMART CITY.

A Atzeni stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position but his mount did not show sufficient pace to do so.

Horse No 12 SPLENDID FORCE (K120) M Chadwick After travelling a short distance was steadied when crowded between ROMANTIC LAOS which shifted out slightly and FOREVER GLORIOUS which lay in despite the efforts of its rider.
