Old-timer Harmony N Blessed dictated the run from gate seven and after being headed, he fought back for an 11th career win and first this season from 80 starts. He relished a return to his favourite Valley course after a near win two runs ago. Danica's Choice was touched off late after briefly leading near the 100m following a speed-tracking run from gate six. He was able to back up a win last start in Class Four at his second run following a stable change. Early favourite Thunder Kit finished third along the inside after a rails run from midfield. He was able to bring his good form from Sha Tin. Young Emperor ran on late through the centre for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. He continues to race consistently. Specked late Flying Knight was doing his best work late with two wider out to just miss fourth prize money after a wide without cover run travelling behind midfield from gate 10. It was a good run up in grade at his initial Valley 1,200m race following wins once each over 1,400m and 1,600m and a third from three consecutive starts. Flying Wrote failed to click after a prominent run. He's had a busy but productive campaign.

Racing Incident Report

Race Nine : (866) - SUN JEWELLERY HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters

Horse No 1 FLYING WROTE (J290) Y L Chung Bumped shortly after the start.

Bumped near the 1000 Metres.

Y L Chung stated that his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight under its top weight of 134 lbs but also was not comfortable on the track which, whilst still rated as "Good" had some give due to rain which had fallen at the start of the meeting.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 3 HARMONY N BLESSED (E061) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 4 THUNDER KIT (L121) C Y Ho Noted to have sustained an abrasion to the left knee on arrival at Happy Valley, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.

Approaching the 100 Metres was bumped by ENDURANCE EXPRESS.

Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned tight to the inside of HARMONY N BLESSED.

Horse No 5 CITY GOLD BANNER (L155) J Orman Shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with FLYING WROTE.

Bumped approaching the 1000 Metres when taken wider by ENDURANCE EXPRESS.

For some distance near the 700 Metres raced keenly when being steadied to obtain a position with cover behind YOUNG EMPEROR.

J Orman stated that his mount was not comfortable on the track which, whilst still rated as "Good" had some give due to rain which had fallen at the start of the meeting.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 6 DARYL FLASH (L168) A Badel Bumped on jumping.

From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 7 ENDURANCE EXPRESS (L397) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of the starting gate and lost ground.

Approaching the 1000 Metres shifted in when being steadied to avoid YOUNG EMPEROR and as a result made contact with THUNDER KIT.

In this incident ENDURANCE EXPRESS then shifted out, making contact with CITY GOLD BANNER, causing CITY GOLD BANNER to be taken wider.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 9 FLYING KNIGHT (K370) K C Leung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 10 KING OF FIGHTERS (K174) K Teetan Shifted out at the start and was bumped.

Horse No 11 DANICA'S CHOICE (L096) A Atzeni Near the 1000 Metres shifted in before being corrected by its rider.

When being corrected DANICA'S CHOICE shifted out and made contact with FLYING WROTE.

Sent for sampling post-race.

27 June 2026 Sha Tin Racemeeting Race 9 (813) KING DANCE - Additional diagnostic assessments performed on the horse did not reveal any significant findings.

After the running of Race 2, the track classification was officially changed from "Good to Yielding" to "Good" This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.

As a consequence of this, the official results will show Races 1 and 2 being run on a track rated "Good"
