Juneau Pride settled one off in third, cruised to the front near the 200m and kept on gamely for a second win from six starts. He's only a three-year-old and has the tools to head higher. Armour War Eagle dashed well near the inside for second after making his run three from the rear. He continues to race well without winning for his new trainer this term. Victory Sky stayed on well for third after a prominent run on the fence with a step up to 1,400m. He's close to a win. Storm Rider rattled home late near the outside for fourth after switching into the open 300m out following a patient ride third last from gate 11. It was a better effort on his past couple of starts. Well-backed Joy Of Spring was doing his best work late for fifth after making his run five back and one off the fence. It was a good run first up off a 234-day break. Punted late Patch Of Cosmo only plodded settling midfield on the fence after a slow start. He couldn't cope carrying six pounds more following a win.

Horse No 1 LUCK IS BACK (J398) L Ferraris Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 3 PATCH OF COSMO (J357) M Chadwick Jumped only fairly.

Near the 200 Metres shifted out and made contact with MR ENERGIA when improving to the outside of ANOTHER ZONDA.

After the event, M Chadwick could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 4 STORM RIDER (J027) B Thompson Jumped awkwardly.

Horse No 7 YIU CHEUNG VICTORY (J529) K De Melo From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 8 JUNEAU PRIDE (J443) B Avdulla Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 9 VICTORY SKY (J540) A Atzeni Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of JUNEAU PRIDE.

Horse No 11 BUCEPHALAS (K096) H T Mo After the event, H T Mo reported that his mount raced keenly in the lead and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 12 THE ABSOLUTE (H438) H Bentley From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Horse No 13 ARMOUR WAR EAGLE (J039) L Hewitson Jumped only fairly and was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

For a short distance near the 400 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 14 MR ENERGIA (J239) K Teetan After the 200 Metres was bumped by PATCH OF COSMO and taken wider.

After the event, K Teetan stated that his mount was awkwardly placed to the inside of PATCH OF COSMO making the Home Turn but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight.

He added from the 200 Metres he was concerned that there may be something amiss with his mount and as a result he did not fully ride it out to the finish of the event.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

The performance of MR ENERGIA was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.

Before being allowed to race again, MR ENERGIA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
