Recap by phillip woo

Helios Express made his run from the rear and just got up in the final bound to just deny Invincible Sage for a seventh win and first this term after seven straight placings behind superstar Ka Ying Rising. Invincible Sage was just touched off late after getting a perfect trip to lead 200m out following a one-off trip from midfield. It was clearly his best run of the campaign. Sensationally-backed Patch Of Theta ran on nicely through the centre to take third without threatening the top two after a patient ride one from the rear. He was able to back up a near win last start in Class One over 1,400m. Lucky Sweynesse ran on well for fourth after making his run three from the rear. He's improved from one run to the next after a lengthy injury-induced absence. Specked late Copartner Prance came up one-paced after a prominent run wide without cover the entire trip. Victor The Winner held his ground after a handy run along the inside.
