Horse No 2 CAPITAL LEGEND (G333) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 WROTE A NEW PAGE (K226) H Bentley Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 CAN'T GO WONG (H087) M F Poon Bumped at the start.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 6 AMAZING GAZE (K444) H Bowman Prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards gave consideration as to whether there were grounds for a protest/objection against CALIFORNIA MOXIE due to CALIFORNIA MOXIE and AMAZING GAZE making contact after the 250 Metres.
When the Stewards were satisfied that the contact was due to both runners shifting ground, having regard to the manner in which both horses finished the race off, the Stewards declined to lodge the protest/objection and declared weighed-in on the numbers semaphored by the Judge.
For some distance after the 100 Metres raced tight between CALIFORNIA MOXIE and JUMBO FORTUNE, both of which shifted ground slightly.
Horse No 7 CALIFORNIA MOXIE (J131) Y L Chung Raced wide and without cover from the 1000 Metres.
Leaving the 250 Metres made contact with AMAZING GAZE due to both runners shifting ground.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 TO INFINITY (G277) A Badel Bumped at the start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 ZETTA FORCE (J546) K C Leung After the event K C Leung reported that his mount over-raced during the race and as a result was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, ZETTA FORCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 11 CHILL MASTER (J319) A Hamelin Slow to begin.
Horse No 12 JUMBO FORTUNE (G195) B Thompson After the event B Thompson stated that when caught wide in the early stages and unable to obtain cover he elected to allow JUMBO FORTUNE to stride forward and take up a position outside the lead to avoid covering additional ground.

Wrote A New Page shook off a challenge from Jumbo Fortune for the front 1,050m out and kept finding for back-to-back wins following a switch to the Valley 1,650m. Capital Legend was closing with every stride along the inside to finish a close second after a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was another fine effort carrying significantly more weight following a win. Favourite California Moxie sustained a move to finish an encouraging third after a mid-race move following a wide trip from behind midfield. It was a solid effort after back-to-back wins. Amazing Gaze kept on gamely through the centre for fourth after a box-seat run. It was an encouraging run on debut. Jumbo Fortune succumbed late after rushing forward following a wide trip from midfield to track the leader 1,050m out. It was another honest performance. Setanta ran on without threatening after making his run one from the rear. He should find his mark shortly. Supreme Agility never let down after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was a disappointing effort despite a return to the level of a runner-up effort two runs ago.
