Race Seven : (260) - THE LONGINES HONG KONG MILE - Class G1 - 1600Meters
Horse No 1 SOUL RUSH (J808) C Demuro Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 VOYAGE BUBBLE (E436) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 BEAUTY JOY (E058) B Avdulla Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid MY WISH when racing keenly.
Horse No 5 GALAXY PATCH (H399) J McDonald Jumped awkwardly.
Lay in over the final 200 Metres.
Horse No 6 BEAUVATIER (L903) A Pouchin Made contact with the left side of its starting gate on jumping.
In the early stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid BEAUTY JOY.
A Pouchin was reprimanded for using his whip on two consecutive occasions near the 150 Metres.
Horse No 9 SUNLIGHT POWER (H244) C Soumillon A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 MY WISH (J256) L Ferraris For a short distance near the 400 Metres raced tight between EMBROIDERY and RED LION which was being shifted to the outside of SOUL RUSH.
L Ferraris reported that after being crossed in the early stages by DOCKLANDS he was then obliged to race further back in the field than anticipated after DOCKLANDS was crossed by VOYAGE BUBBLE.
He added in the Home Straight MY WISH finished the race off fairly and, in his opinion, was slightly disappointing.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 COPARTNER PRANCE (H408) M Guyon Jumped awkwardly.
The performance of COPARTNER PRANCE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, COPARTNER PRANCE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 PATCH OF THETA (H485) C Williams Noted to have a small abrasion to the right hind leg at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 13 THE LION IN WINTER (L904) R Moore From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 14 EMBROIDERY (L905) C Lemaire Jumped only fairly.
Near the 400 Metres was bumped by MY WISH.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
C Lemaire reported that after entering the Home Straight his mount failed to respond to his riding and he could offer no excuse for its disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No HAPPY TOGETHER (G446) A Badel Withdrawn on 13.12.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right hind) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter PRAY FOR MIR.
Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY TOGETHER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Second favourite Voyage Bubble rolled forward from gate 12 to eventually sit one off in second 1,000m out and lifted late to just deny Soul Rush for a 12th win from 27 starts and back-to-back wins in the Hong Kong Mile. Soul Rush was overhauled in the concluding stages after working to the lead 300m out following a wide trip near the front from gate 11. It was another solid run in Hong Kong by the Japanese raider. Red Lion ran on nicely for third without threatening the top two after a wide trip from better than midfield. It was his best run from three starts this term. Docklands stayed on for fourth after travelling one-off from better than midfield. It was a good run by the British raider. Galaxy Patch got going late near the outside for fifth after making his run as usual towards the rear. He wasn't suited by the muddling pace. Favourite My Wish ran on steadily without threatening after a one-off trip from just worse than midfield.
